Targhee Sports Center was founded by Ray Walker in 1970 and at nearly 80 he still helps out. His Son Bruce has operated the business since 1984. Early days were spent his days watching his father Sell and repair Boats and other sports equipment. During this time that I learned the value of every Customer, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any Unit. To use his and our fine staff's deep knowledge and training and equipment to get things done correctly. We have never forgotten the lessons we learned from Ray after all those years. Bruce never has forgotten the gratitude of those his father helped. He never forgot the warm feeling he felt every time we would fix a boat for someone who couldn't afford a new one. Bruce is determined to honor his father by running a business that would truly offer value to the community. He promised himself to always provide value and outstanding service, regardless of how large his business grew.
Word of great deals and outstanding service quickly spread throughout the region. It was the summer of 2010 when Targhee Sports quit the Kawasaki dealership business to better service the needs of the area as the best marine service center around.
